Johnny Depp as Aurelio
Character Name: Aurelio
Casting Call: Johnny Depp
Position: Sailor
Race: Empyrean
Character Bio:

Crispin Glover as Charon
Character Name: Hemera Charon
Casting Call: Crispin Glover
Position: Deck hand, Clairvoyant, and Fledgeling scholar.
Race: Atlantean
Character Bio: Charon is a sharp-tongued and pale-eyed youth from the marches, in search of the unknown, and perhaps even the unknowable. He is best known for his predisposition toward intellectual opposition and inquisition, having questioned his superiors on many an occasion -- hardly an attitude that would suit a lowly deck hand. But the reason for his journey, although known to very few other than himself, seems to be enough reason for humility.

Jay Tavare as Dussadhyan
Character Name: Dussadhyan "Hyan"
Casting Call: Jay Tavare
Position: Assistant Cargomaster/Tailor
Race: Varati
Character Bio: Dussadhyan was not always know by this name, nor was he always a tailor, but his past is near nonexistent even to those who have had more than passing contact with him. His knowledge is that of a vaisya, though so down on his luck that life in the stewing marshes of Irha-Esh and Parnassus would seem his proper home, and the shudra and Mongrels know him as one who is willing to mend their clothing for a pittance. Recently he has decided upon another path, one that leads him even farther from whence he came, and despite the burdens heaped upon him by his god, he is yet faithful. Even so, only time will tell if his present course can redeem his pride in who he is.

Sarah Kendall as Dylana
Character Name: Tithani Dylana
Casting Call: Sarah Kendall
Position: Navigator
Race: Halfbreed
Character Bio:Calm, detached, Ice Queen, all terms which have been used to describe Dylana. Every saying about redheads is contradicted by her cool, rational demeanour which seems to be all about control. As the ship's navigator she has to be serious or else the vessel might change it's course and who knows where the crew might end up. She forms a team with Lyri, her cartography partner and pupil, whose wild outgoing behaviour stands in sharp contrast to her own. Rather than find this annoying, Dylana seems to accept this however, much like she accepts the antics of the rest of the crew. Perhaps a lifetime of travelling coupled with the suspicion befalling her as a Halfbreed Water Mage has taught her this acceptance of others, whereas her own uncanny sense of strict self-control is the result of years of Delphi training. Whatever it may be, one thing is known for certain about Dylana's relations with the crew: She doesn't judge, but she does expect.

Lindsay Lohan as Epi
Character Name: Muirea Epi
Casting Call: Lindsay Lohan
Position: Water Scout
Race: Atlantean
Character Bio: Epi came to the Parnassus area from one of the more remote reaches of the Marches. Even after all her time around the 'land dwellers,' she seems incredibly naive and almost childlike in temperament at times. Armed with an insatiable curiosity and a guileless, cheerful disposition, she is out to discover everything she can about the world.

Kristin Kreuk as Kalei
Character Name: Aolani Kalei
Casting Call: Kristin Kreuk
Position: Water Survivalist, Linguist, Telepath
Race: Atlantean
Character Bio: Kalei has always liked to learn new things, and when she reached the age of choice, the task was set before her to go and learn how to fend for herself in the wild seas. She encountered a variety of Atlanteans who were willing to teach her underwater survival tactics, including teaching her which foods were edible and which were not, knowledge of the working of currents, basic first aid herbalism, and underwater pathfinding. Once the quest was complete, it was not long before she began to travel in earnest, finding that she had a knack for picking up new languages, and piecing together languages that are related when encountering a new one. Haven was one of the places she visited on her journeys, getting a good deal of knowledge while she was there. She recently returned to the area of the Marchers, which is where she heard of the expedition. Curiosity and a thirst for knowledge getting the best of her, she's asked to be hired as a linguist and survivalist.

Vanessa Ferlito as Lexa
Character Name: Lexa
Casting Call: Vanessa Ferlito
Position: Stowaway
Race: Mongrel
Character Bio: Up until very recently, Lexa was, one might say, one of the stars of the evening entertainment at the Naughty Nereus. Since the pirate attack on Parnassus, however, it's been generally the opinion that she's been a pale shadow of her former self, not to mention tearful and irritable at even less provocation than usual. There are varying theories as to why, but who knows...?

Lauren Ambrose as Lyri
Character Name: Allyriane "Lyri" Dymeia Lyracides
Casting Call: Lauren Ambrose
Position: Cartographer/Healer
Race: Empyrean
Character Bio: As feisty and fiery as her copper dreadlocks, Lyri is an impertinent, impetuous young woman, full of herself and the irreverence of youth. She's always ready for a good ale, a good tale, and a bit of rowdy fun, and her rough speech and manner is evidence of a long association with sailors and their ilk. Quick to laugh and quite engaging, Lyri nevertheless keeps much of herself in reserve. Her flippant nature reveals its serious side in her uncanny dedication to her cartography work. While competent, it's with her navigator partner and mentor, Dylana, that she truly shines. Lyri is also an acolyte healer and gifted with herbs, but most find her bedside manner comparable to that of a branding iron. She makes no secret of the dash of Atlantean blood in her veins, nor of her clan-ties to the Cahr'Dhaki, a renowned group of traders and cairds. Lyri seems quietly skeptical of the Amarada and her captain, as well, but her exact reasons for that and for being on the ship remain a mystery.

Minowa
Character Name: Minowa
Casting Call: The Green Faery from Fantasia 2000
Position: Healer, Shaper and Night Light
Race: Halfbreed
Character Bio: Minowa appeared in the Twin Cities perhaps a year ago, and while some may have recognized her as a face seen in other ports, she had, before then, never been spotted in Parnassus. The halfbreed did seem to have some history with the Amarada, as a crewmen who accompanied the ship first on a brief voyage of exploration, and then on a rescue mission. After returning she was invited to be the Castallia's Shaping Ductor; a position which she hesitatingly accepted in the hopes of maintaining the thriving community there. Unfortunately, tensions between Empyrean factions created a new strain and expectation for the Castallia and turned the once commune into a mere tool both sides were squabbling over. A year in one place is a long time for one used to traveling, and when invited to join the crew of the two ships leaving on a voyage of discovery, Minowa accepted. It would also be quickly discovered that this sylvan/atlantean halfbreed glows in the dark.

Virginia Hey as Nymosyne
Character Name: Nymosyne
Casting Call: Virginia Hey
Position: Sailor, Dancer, Jester
Race: Atlantean
Character Bio: Nymosyne had caused quite some uproar and was the center of rumors for Varati society. She was said to have appeared out of nothing, and trying to lure on the Agni-Haidar to the sea from which she came. She is a very cheery person, even for those of her race, and has remind a child at heart. Next to working as a sailor on the ships, Nymosyne is always game for long nights filled with ale, laughter and lots of yarning stories. She herself is known for fooling around and entertaining everyone with her stories. She has a certain like for Varati clothes and jewelry, and seems to be generally open-minded to all the other races. She doesn't fear fooling around with the Varati, or to flirt with the Empyreans, or leading discussions with Sylvans. She just enjoys life to the fullest and doesn't care much about boundaries and status; to her, everyone is alike and her behaviour is quite the opposite to what one would expect of someone that has spent a year with the Lawkeepers of the Atlanteans.

Ted Raimi as Pakel
Character Name: Muahili Inoar Pakel
Casting Call: Ted Raimi
Position: Sailor and Water Mage
Race: Atlantean
Character Bio: Bio coming soon

Marty Feldman as Roger
Character Name: Roger the Wretched
Casting Call: Marty Feldman
Position: Cook for the Makara
Race: Mongrel
Character Bio: Roger the Wretched was born to a harlot in a Mongrel Town brothel. Those who took pity on him looked after the hunch-backed beast even though food was scarce. When he was old enough, he was put to work on the docks. These hard times made him strong, but his back remained as hunched as ever. One day, after a particularly bitter meal, he decided that he would live and eat like a man, and not an animal on the street. His strength and ability to defend himself helped him find employment among the many ships along the docks. One day, a ship’s cook, another mongrel, walked by on his way to retrieve some onions, and the ship lurched just enough so that a tall stack of boxes of potatoes began to lean ominously. Roger leaped into action, pushing the cook out of the way. In return for Roger saving his life, the cook agreed to allow him to work in the kitchen. When a position became available on the Makara, Roger's mentor recommended him for the post.

Cary Elwes as Sebastian
Character Name: Sebastian Xaverius Tritonides
Casting Call: Cary Elwes
Position: Captain of the Amarada
Race: Empyrean
Character Bio: Bio coming soon

Nicholas Rodgers as Sivan
Character Name: Sivan bin Mazat ibn alam 'Zulyat
Casting Call: Nicolas Rodgers
Position: Cook on the Amarada
Race: Varati
Character Bio: Despite his youthful age, Sivan bin Mazat ibn alam 'Zulyat has spent the majority of the last four years at sea. Born in Haven and raised in bin Ushas and vara alam 'Zulyat, Sivan makes no secret that he is the son of the Imam of Irha-Esh and that his sister currently studies in Castallia. He also makes no secret of his worship, not only of Khalid-Atar, but of his mother, Ushas. While quick to smile and chat...sometimes even flirt with the women of the crew, he is oddly quiet and strangely deferential (for a Varati) when near the male members of the crew. A skilled cook, he can often be found enhancing his culinary skills with his fire-magic as well as writing in books; one does seem to be a rationing log, the other some sort of personal journal. He isn't known to sleep much...for when he does, he seems to always be awakened by dreams. No matter his state or the time of day, he is always impeccably dressed and groomed.

Jonathan Frakes as Soft-Feather
Character Name: Soft-Feather
Casting Call: Jonathan Frakes
Position: Aerial/Nautical Scout
Race: Sylvan
Character Bio:A Ferine Magus, Soft-Feather commands extraordinary shapeshifting abilities that make him very versatile, particularly when the brute strength of a bear or the mile-sight of an eagle is needed. He became acquainted with the Amarada's crew when he attempted to rescue the kidnapped women from the pirate ship Makara. Though Soft-Feather failed on his own, he later proved useful to the crew as a scout and eventually helped to secure the safe return of the prisoners during the Amarada's raid on the Makara. He comes off as a very warm and genuine man, though from time to time there is a certain sadness behind his eyes. Whatever haunts his idle thoughts he does not say, instead choosing to throw himself into his work as a scout and deckhand. Soft-Feather tends to spend a lot of time as an eagle, flying ahead or perched above on the woodwork, always watching for what lies ahead...and always wondering about what he left behind.

Edward Furlong as Sunlight
Character Name: Ohanko Sunlight
Casting Call: Edward Furlong
Position: Ferine sailor
Race: Sylvan
Character Bio: Known to have been in Castallia, the red-head Sunlight is known to be an curious soul and by all accounts a trickster who is too talkative for his own good. Aiming to leave Castallia after the recent change of Auctor, the sylvan managed to come on board of the Amarada mainly thanks to his childhood friend StrongArm. Although always appears joyful and smiling, word has it that the sylvan's parents had been killed in Parnassus for some crime against the Empyrean authority, leaving a mark in him.

Jean-Claude Van Damme as Valens
Character Name: 'Valens' (Severin Constantius Quirinatus)
Casting Call: Jean-Claude Van Damme
Position: Mercenary
Race: Empyrean
Character Bio: He calls himself Valens, and little more is known about this Empyrean. Well-built for his race, he has built a reputation for being a fierce fighter and a master swordsman, as well as his ability to drink heavily and being popular with the cyprians in many ports. But those that are in close proximity to him know that he is actually a very reserved man; intense, quiet, and perhaps even a bit soft-spoken. He passes much of his time alone, either sharpening one of his blades, or practicing on them. He rarely smiles, and is known to be a very light sleeper, but he is also known to be an industrious, hard worker when given a task. They say he is an eager learner and that he is rather polite, once one gets to know him. Yet, he keeps his past to himself, and he makes it well known he'd like to keep it that way. On another note, others have started to notice he doesn't particularly seem to enjoy the sea very much...

Charlize Theron as Zea
Character Name: Zea Pantolea (Acesian) Justinus
Casting Call: Charlize Theron
Position: Wind Mage
Race: Empyrean
Character Bio: At first glance this woman looks like she has no business on a sailing vessel, for she has not had the years at sea to wipe away the aristocratic manner with which she carries herself. A former resident of Parnassus and Civitas Dei, she now calls the sea her home, leaving behind a privileged life to dwell in a world she knows nothing about. So far she has not been quite so forthcoming with her reasons for being along, but the most obvious reason seems to be her ability to manipulate the winds and to help Captain Xaverius speed the ships along. Those who have served aboard the Amarada for a while might speak of her relationship with the captain, the incident with the lightning and the rather unusual choice of clothing for her first voyage. When asked her name she introduces herself as Zea Justinus, but those familiar with her would know of her Acesian roots.
