May 5, 2005:The Timeline has been updated and is currently up to date. There is also a new addition to the Library page. We now have a section titled News and Rumors. This will be a collection of all the posts on the IC Rumors board, divided by month. If you're new to the game, this is an excellent place to catch up on all the rumors and news floating around on the ship.
May 4, 2005:Two more logs have been added to the Library.Defending Their Own is the fight with the Aesir in Njororn and Tense Beginnings is the first official meeting between the crews and the Aesir in Idavoll.
May 2, 2005: We have three new logs added to the Library. If you missed out on the visit to Njororn, these logs can help catch you up: An Empty Town, Funeral Preparations, and Beneath the Timbers. The last log in Njororn, the first encounter the Aesir, is coming soon. If you have any other logs from Njororn, please email them in please!
April 15, 2005: The Maps pages have been updated to add the two Aesir towns we will be stopping in. The first with be the fishing and trading village of Njororn and the second is the larger town called Idavoll. A link to Astraea's website on the Aesir can be found at the top of the Aesir page in the news files. It includes a large gallery as well as recommended resources.
April 14, 2005: More NPCs have been added, including some for the upcoming Aesir visit. Another log has been added as well: Spilled Ale.
April 11, 2005:Two more logs have been added, both dealing with the pirate ship The Defiant: Attack on the Defiant and A Pact Between Ships. The Defiant captain Caerlyn Neath has been added to the NPCs page. Her bio will added soon.
April 9, 2005: The news file Ship Life has been added. This will give players the basics about day to day life aboard the ships. We have a new log as well: Lights in the Distance.
March 18, 2005: A lot of updates today. We have two more logs set in Raven's Cove: A Little Detective Work and A Cook's Report. In the News section we now have a New Player FAQ. Hopefully this will answer the most common questions. Additionally, a section on TP Submissions has been added to the Submissions page. Last, but not least, Maura, the friendly mongrel shopkeeper in Raven's Cove has been added to the NPCs page.
March 15, 2005: The Timeline has been updated to note the arrival at Raven's Cove. We also have two new logs: A Fight to the Finish and Trinkets and Treasures.
March 9, 2005: The mongrel settlement of Raven's Cove has been added to the news. Additionally, the Maps have been updated and a new 'known world' map has been added.
March 4, 2005: Epi's bio has been added to the Players page. If you haven't gotten in your bio info, please do so! We also have some new logs in the Library.
February 27, 2005: Aether: The Odyssey is underway! The ships have left port and are on their way to the Aesir lands in the north. There are still a few sections of the website to be filled in, but we have added more logs and player information.
February 8, 2005: Welcome to Aether: The Odyssey, a spin-off from Aether II. The former website will be left up for the news files and general information on the theme, but this site will become the main site for the game. The site is still under construction, as the game has not officially opened, but if you have anything you'd like to submit, but all means do so. Please see the Submissions Guidelines page for information on how to submit logs, stories, character info, or anything else.
