Casting Call

A picture is worth a thousand words, or so the saying goes, and sometimes even the wordiest of MUSH descriptions can't convey the perfect image of how one envisions their character. Not to mention that it's fun to speculate on who would "play" your character if there were ever a movie made from your MUSH. In answer to those speculations, these pages have been created to feature the hypothetical "cast" of the Aether movie. One thing is for sure... it'd take a hell of a budget.

Due to the vast amount of pictures that have been sent in, and to the fact that posting them all on one page would take too darn long to load for folks who have slow modems, the Casting Call pages have been divided into separate sections -- a page for each race, plus an additional one for halfbreeds, mongrels, and other "miscellaneous" characters. Each page features characters listed in alphabetical order.

If you're interested in having your character listed on these pages, either e-mail (apoyser@hotmail.com) or @mail Astraea's player, with either the pic itself, or the URL where it can be downloaded (the preferred method). Make sure the image is not too large (less than 50K is ideal), and it should either be in JPEG or GIF format. No other types will be accepted. Also, if characters are idle or OOC for over a month (without prior warning) they may be purged from the Casting Call.

The Internet Movie Database is an excellent place to look when "casting" your character.

Since there is often some curiosity or confusion over which actors/celebrities are "taken," this list has been provided. The celebrities are all listed in alphabetial order (last name first), along with the name of the character who chose them. This list is based on what is in the gallery, not on the &castingcall attribute which players can set online. A celebrity is only considered "taken" if a player has submitted a photo for these pages.
