Vanessa Williams, the singer and actress, really inspired how Aja looks. Aja Khazael bin Ushas is a Varati woman -- a former houri with ties to the Ushasti and a mysterious past. She is currently a student in Delphi, where she is studying Fire-Elemental and Shapeshifting magic.

Amar: 52k

This collage of Kim Rossi Stuart, a popular Italian actor, was put together by Amar's player. It shows how he pictures Amar Haddad ibn Daheem al'Samar, a Varati craftsman from the vaisya clan, Al'Samar.

Asusena: 26k

Kenya Moore has appeared in such films as Waiting to Exhale and made television guest appearances on shows like "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and "Martin." She would be perfect for this unconventional Varati woman with the grace of a tiger.

Bashirrah: 14k

Bashirrah Crest, a tough female gladiator who can fight as well as any man, is shown here, dressed in a tribal ritual outfit designed specifically for rakshasi leonine shapeshifters. The Broadway actress, Heather Headley, would be perfect for the role.

Faisal: 7k

If Clint Eastwood (shown here from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly) gained maybe a hundred pounds of muscle and grew another few inches, he'd be perfect for the part of Faisal, the dreaded Nayaka of the Agni-Haidar.

Ghaliya: 8k

Chandini, a popular Indian actress, was chosen to play Ghaliya, a kshatri woman from Clan Messala and a ward of Shihab.

Mekhti: 15k

Jennifer Lopez -- actress, singer, model, and dancer -- best-known from such movies as Selena and Out of Sight was chosen as the best one to represent Mekhti Lael, the second consort of Zuhayr, and Alaia's "l'il helper."

Niamh: 25k

From the 1984 Robin Hood television series, Michael Praed was chosen as the best actor for Niamh Gitanjali bin Mazat, a priest of the Atarvani. Of course, he'd have to be wearing red instead of green... but you get the idea.

Rasamei: 38k

This collage, arranged by Rasamei's player, features Aishwarya Rai, a model and actress from India who was Miss World 1994. With her green eyes and lean figure, she'd be perfect for this pirate captain who's been nicknamed the Black Widow by her fellow Buccaneers. The pictures show her in various outfits she'd don while at sea, although the leather 'Xena' outfit may be a bit over the top for fights.

Saadiya Nimat al'Ghanim, a priestess of the Ushasti, chose the actress Shabana Azmi, known from such movies as Fire and City of Joy, for her casting call.

Angie Harmon, who plays the no-nonsense Assistant D.A., Abbie Carmichael, on the TV show Law and Order, would be perfect for the Shechah Akhund of the Atarvani, Sabirah. This picture makes her look downright scary, but of course a proper Atarvani priestess would be wearing more clothes.

The Indian actress, Simran, is a perfect blend of exotic beauty and wholesome sweetness, which so embodies the character of Sarasvati, Varati dancer, musician, and singer of incomparable talent.

Sharvari: 24k

Model/actress Tyra Banks, from such movies as Coyote Ugly and Love and Basketball, was chosen for the part of Sharvari al'Zahira, a tall woman cloaked in traditional Varati fashion, who nonetheless possesses an exotic, foreign air.

Thurayya: 19k

The Indian actress, Divya Bharti, was chosen for the part of Thurayya Hashimal, the consort of Khalid Atar.

Vasha: 12k

The daughter of the Warlord of Clan Senjit, Vasha Kaidar al'Senjit, would best be represented by Holly Marie Combs, from Ocean's Eleven and the television series, "Charmed."

Zel: 16k

Renowned in Bollywood, Anu Agarwhal provides the perfect image for the dangerous Kaimakam Amipal's little sister, Jezebel Vahni al-Chandrima, more simply known as "Zel."
