"In Favor of a Trial"

November 15, 3907

Dei et Deae, domini et dominae,

Having had no prior contact whatsoever with the involved parties of this trial, I am forced to rely solely upon the information presented to me through the letters of Dominus Thanatos and Dominus Aurelius. As well articulated and planned as these letters may have been, I have seen no hard evidence that can completely convince me of Altair Leander Chryseis' innocence. I am somewhat disturbed when Dominus Thanatos mentions that he has in his possession letters of warning from the Emperor himself.

As the representative of House Fortuna, my vote is cast in favor of a trial to determine whether or not Altair Chryseis is guilty of treason. As Dominus Areides has suggested, I support the idea that this matter be turned over to the more appropriate personnel for this, the Juratus.

Phineas Iapetus Fortuna
Aegian of House Fortuna
