"Let the Juratus Decide..."Dei et Deae, domini et dominae, esteemed collegues: In light of the recent dropping of the charge of murder against Altair Chryseis, and the call for dismissal of charges, I will say that I agree in part with Dominus Gabriel Augustin's words. The charge of treason by injury to the majesty of the Empyre is not a strong one, yet not something I would have dismissed out of hand, nor is it something I would wish to see a man remain in custody for, especially given such unclear circumstances. This is not a matter weighty enough for the Aegis to debate - let us rather turn it over to the Juratus for consideration, and let them decide the fate of Altair Chryseis' Empyreal citizenship. In the mean time, there is no reason for the man to remain in custody. House Ares votes to release Altair Chryseis, and turn the matter of his citizenship over to the Juratus.
